Grapo s.r.o. would like to invite you and your colleagues to Viscom Italia 2008 in Milano. It will be the first time Grapo presents the newly developed Grapo SHARK. This High-end level UV printer is the answer for the evergrowing demand for the UV printing technology. Using Xaar technology with Greyscale variable dropsize and long term experience of our Research and development team, we managed to accomplish a UV printer with technical specifications such as printspeed at 225m2 per hour at a quality of 960dpi. GRAPO announcement of Shark X8/960UV
Our new printing machine is Grapo’s answer on the growing demand for industrial printers, producing high volume of prints on one type of media.
It’s a highly versatile printer which can be used as a roll-to-roll ( integrated rollers) printer for printing on variety of flexible media including billboard paper, self-adhesive vinyl, PVC banner, flag etc.
Automatic accessories such as automatic cutter, automatic feeder and unloader can change the machine into the roll-to-sheet or sheet-to-sheet machine which can print on rigid materials such as PVC sheets, cardboard, foam sheets etc.
Used printing technology with variable drop size will produce high resolution (up to 960dpi x 960dpi) and high quality prints at a high print speeds – up to 200m2/h, single pass.
Powerfull electric fan, creating a strong vacuum, is used for holding the media on to the transfer belt.
Laser sensors are used for automatic detection of the material edges as well as for automatic material height adjustment. Media height can be up to 90 mm.
Easy print job management is also enabled via www – remote control.
Optical linear encoder is used to guarantee the precise drop positioning in x axis.
Water circuit is used for printheads (water heating system) and also to cool down highly efficient UV lamps.
The printheads require minimum maintenance – automatic print heads cleaning (vacuum sucking system).
