Qres Technologies, a developer of sophisticated large format inkjet printing systems, will premiere itself and its portfolio of large format UV printers, at FESPA 2017 in Hamburg, Germany.

The global launch of a new state of the art UV flatbed printer, the Q-series, is announced to be carried out in Hall A1, stand C66. Visitors will have opportunity to gain an idea how astonishing the Q200 printer is. The Q-series printers offer the best performance and cost in the industry. “We are excited to showcase the Q200 printer. Its print speed of 600m2/h in draft mode, together with the print height capacity of up to 300 mm will surely impress the audience at FESPA” says Lukas Torngren, CEO at Qres Technologies. The printers are expandable with up to 8 color channels, including White, Varnish, spot colors and light colors. “Q-series printers are targeted at the industrial market as well as speed and quality demanding print shops” comments Torngren.

Another product line on display will be the F-series HS printer. FESPA visitors will experience live printing sessions of the F160 HS printer, being equipped with many useful features and special options making the process of printing smooth and comfortable – such as the Bridge Lift option, enabling to print on object up to 300 mm, external vacuum connection, scalable vacuum system with multiple zones, tandem operation, adjustable curing and crash sensors.

Except from showcasing the products, Qres Technologies will also be presenting itself as FESPA Awards shortlisted nominee in the category of Direct printing on three dimensional products.

This next generation printhead redefines the standard in single-pass printing, delivering exceptional print quality and productivity to manufacturers worldwide.

The Xaar 1002 GS6 has been developed and optimised for a wide range of UV applications; these include labels, laminates, direct-to-shape, packaging and other types of product decoration, where product quality and industrial levels of reliability are paramount.

The All New Xaar 1002 GS6 incorporates multiple new technology features, drawing on Xaar’s many years’ experience in a number of industry sectors, giving improved drop volume uniformity and drop placement accuracy for an even higher quality printed image. Featuring 1000 Optimised Geometry nozzles, the Xaar 1002 GS6 can jet and place drops with the highest precision on the market. As a result this new printhead produces high resolution text and images with smooth tones demanded by manufacturers globally.
A key feature of the All New Xaar 1002 is its ability to print heavily pigmented hig​h opacity white inks and high viscosity varnishes extremely reliably, enabled by Xaar’s patented ink recirculation technology, TF Technology™.  Therefore it is the ideal printhead for a wide range of UV applications including labels and printing onto clear packaging for bottles, where opaque backup whites and high build spot varnishes are essential.

Significant restructuring and investment

following acquisition by private investment group

November 15, Olomouc, Czech Republic -Grapo Technologies, manufacturers of innovative, high-productivity wide format hybrid and flatbed UV printing machines, today announced their recent acquisition by a group of private investors. This acquisition will enable the company to significantly strengthen their position in the European wide format print market.

The new company will be named SigmaJet. Branislav Oravec, previously Sales and Marketing Director of Grapo Technologies, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Alongside Mr Oravec, the company and its owner investment group have put in place a strong international management team with considerable experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing and customer service. To support their strategy, the group is making significant investments in areas of manufacturing, R&D, training and customer support and is opening a new state-of the-art demonstration facility in Bratislava, Slovakia, in January 2012.
